Here are some of the most famous hotels in Korea.








Hotel Shilla is a South Korean operator of luxury hotels and duty-free shops. It is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Bu-Jin Lee is the current general manager and CEO of The Shilla. The hotel opened in  1979 following the intention of the late Mr. Byungchul Lee, the founder of Samsung Group. Lotte Hotels and Resorts is a South Korean international luxury hotel chain operated by South Korean multinational conglomerate Lotte Group. The company was founded in 1973. As of 2016, there are now 21 Lotte branded hotels across the world in 5 different countries. It is the largest hotel group in Korea, is expanding beyond Asia to become a global brand. Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul is an international hospitality brand that manages and develops resorts, hotels and spas in Asia, America, Africa and Middle East. The brand was established since 1994, with its roots in Singapore. As of 2014, there are 36 resorts and hotels. 2015 will see one addition to the list in Morocco and two more in China. Under their management are also 70 spas, 77 retail galleries, and 3 championship golf courses in 28 countries. It has been 20 years since the first Banyan Tree resort opened in Phuket.
