The Department aims to nurture world class hoteliers and talented individuals in tourism and service who are equipped with practical skills, and meet the global standard to actively respond to the needs of the hotel and tourism industry, not only in Korea but also in China and English speaking countries. The Department produces experts in tourism and hotel management who will play an active role on the international stage by enhancing global competitiveness with practical education such as hotel management practice, restaurant management, hotel convention events, and foreigner exclusive hotel casinos, intensive language courses which are essential in the tourism and hotel & restaurant industries, domestic and overseas internship, training and student exchange programs.

Related Certificates are Hotelier Certificates, Chinese HSK, CPT, English TOEIC, Bartender Certificate, Sommelier Certificates, Barrister Certificates, Reservation System Certificates, Tourism Interpretation and Guide Certificates   

Career Path after Graduation can be Domestic employment: hotel, luxury restaurant or restaurant businesses, duty free shops, foreigner-only casino in five-star hotels in the Seoul and Incheon areas, airlines, tour agencies, convention event, Overseas employment: getting a job at hotel or companies located in English-speaking countries such as Canada, Australia,America and Singapore or China, Transfer to other universities: those who want to transfer to other countries can transfer to Chinese or English-speaking countries’ universities
