Department of Video Broadcasting of the Kyung-In Women's University

There are 26 departments in the Kyung-In Women's University. Among those departments, we are looking at some departments which closely linked with the KOREAN WAVE. The Korean wave refers to the phenomenon of Korean entertaionment and popular culture rolling over the world with pop music, TV dramas, and movies. Also known as "Hallyu"  in Korean, the term was first coined by the Chinese press in the late 1990s to describe the growing popularity of Korean pop culture in China.

First of all, I'm introducing you the Department of Video Broadcasting. In the 21st century, the art and entertainment industry has developed and diversified, and accordingly the industry’s role and importance has been increasing. The Department seeks to nurture professional pop culture artists who are equipped with versatility and can lead a sound social culture and represent people’s sentiment. It will do its best to produce Korea’s top entertainers through top faculty members, solid curriculum and advanced practice environment.

Career Path after graduation of Graduates of dept. of video broadcasting, as an entertainer who are equipped with professional skills in the broadcasting and culture industry can work as an actor employed by broadcasting stations, TV talent, movie actor, play actor, musical actor, comedian, model, radio actor, reporter, MC, VJ, DJ, director, TV writer, singer, professional performer(back dancer, back chorus), dancer, performance and event director, music video director, manager, coordinator, magician, broadcasting, movie video related staff members.

The students of the Department of Video Broadcasting will make another master piece which can be world-widely popular.
