Required Documents of the International Education Center of the Kyung-In Women's University

Requirements      

A high school diploma or the equivalent is the minimum requirement for admission to all IEC's Korean language programs.       

Required documents      

(1) A completed application form (Submit an application form<http://wcms.kiwu.ac.kr/international/english/intro02_06.jsp> through E-mail:nanseouri@naver.com)

(2) An Essay stating your purpose of study and introducing yourself(Submit an Essay through E-mail:nanseouri@naver.com)

(3) A photocopy of the student's passport

(4) A copy of the student’s transcript or diploma from the last school attended


(5) A copy of certificate of  deposit balance over $10,000 (USD) or certificate of remittance or exchange. In case of using parents' financial statement, a copy of Family Relationship Certificate or Birth Certificate is required
(6) Two photos (size : 3*4)






*All documents must be received by the deadline*





















* If your documents are not in Korean, English, Japancese or Chinese, your documents must be translated to one of these languages and get notarized by the notary office.
* We strongly recommend that you submit your application form, a copy of your passport and academic certificates at the same time. In the event that one or more of these items is missing, confirmation will NOT be given

* IEC may request for additional documents depending on students nationality and situation.


* For students from below 21 countries who apply for D-4 visa, addtional condition is applied. 
21 countries: Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Mongolia, Thailand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Iran, Cambodia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, Peru
(1) Notarization of Korean Consulate is required on academic documents. Please submit a copy of notarzied documents. In case your country is Apostille Member, Korean Consulate Notarization is substituted with Apostille. Each countries have their own authority or gervernment department for Apostille. Normally The Ministry of Education or The Ministry of  Foreign Affairs is authorized to Apostille. 
(2) A copy of Family Relationship Certificate (or a copy of Birth Certificate)



* High-Risk-Countris with Tuberculosis announced by Korean government
   Students from below countries  should submit a Certificate of Tuberculosis Check issued by appointed hospital to Korean Embassy when applying for D-4 visa. Please consult with Korean Embassy as for appointed hospitals. (As of 1st July, 2016)
High-Risk-Countries with Tuberculosis: Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Nepal, Indonesia, Pakistan, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan


* 4 terms(1 year) registration mandarory
   Students from African countries, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan,Philippines, Cambodian, Sri Lanka, Iran, Turkmenistan, Pakistan Application for Regular Program(D-4 Student visa applicants) are required to pay for 4 terms(1 year) tuition at once to apply for student visa(D-4).
